This magwell works with polymer mags only. Designed to ensure a smooth mag change. It is held on by an adhesive that is supplied with the magwell. Included in the package is a replacement charging handle. It's larger than what comes with the rifle but light weight so it doesn't slow the cycle time causing feeding and extraction issues.
